Tent Peak - Tharpu Chuli climb, a mountain with two good names the word Tent used as per the shape of the peaks due to its shape when looked from the close distance around Annapurna base camp and sanctuary, while the word Tharpu Chuli a Nepalese name for the peaks which is listed by the later peak name in NMA (Nepal Mountaineering Association).

Tent Peak-Tharpu Chuli Climb leads you to tough effort with much technical skill to encounter although a lesser peak below 6,000 m at maximum height above 5,663 meters and 18,580 ft, high stands proudly at the back of beautiful sanctuary, where walk leads you beyond Annapurna base camp to reach its striking summit.

For Tent Peak-Tharpu Chuli climb we have used the grade as TD means ‘Technical Difficule’ the word and grading comes from French-Swiss Alpine Climbing Classification Systems, a quite technical climb, but possible with right gear and strong attitude following our expert guide all the way to its summit top.

One of the scenic and shortest adventures on Tent Peak-Tharpu Chuli climb of two week duration from the beautiful city of Pokhara, where drive reaches from the capital Kathmandu to Pokhara blessed with awesome panorama of Annapurna Himalaya with majestic Machhapuchare Himal ‘Fish Tail’ and serene lakes.

Walk leads from warmer low farm areas to reach high mid hills covered in with tall rhododendron-magnolia-oaks and pine trees with some bamboo following along the village trail witnessing impressive culture and custom of Gurung Hill tribe, and then entering into deep gorge of Modi River following the raging river upstream right up to its glacial source at Annapurna Sanctuary.

On reaching beautiful areas within Annapurna Sanctuary enclosed by amphitheatre of peaks of massive Annapurna Himalaya range with overnight stop at Annapurna Base Camp right in the heart of mighty Mt. Annapurna I, then on our way to our main goal towards Tent Peak base camp.

What’s Included

  • In some high altitude treks we provide sleeping bags and down jackets also with comprehensive medical kits carried by our guides and staff.
  • International Air-fare, Personal medical / travel insurance and Nepal visa fees.
  • Expenses of individual nature drinks, laundry, telephone bills, gratitude and meals in city areas Kathmandu and Pokhara as per the itinerary chosen.
  • Personal Trekking-Climbing gear and equipments including down jackets-sleeping bags if not provided by the company as per the trip cost.
  • Single Supplement on hotel rooms as well on trek in lodge where clients should inform ahead on booking with extra charge on booking single private rooms where available.
  • Emergency evacuation by any means of transportations including immediate Helicopter services if required on accidents, sickness and personal problems.
  • Early return from the tour or treks will not be entertainment with refund, where client should borne all the expenses incurred including accompany guide-porters services.
