A striking mountain to look at Chulu East which is one of major peaks within the range of Chulus includes Chulu Mid-Chulu Far East and Chulu West where the main and highest of all Chulus is Chulu East Peak where our adventure leads you on top.

Chulu East Peak Climb we have designed and set the itinerary much flexible with enough days to get acclimatize before the climb where grade stands as PD + means ‘Per Difficule’ taken the system of Alpine style climbing from French and Swiss classification, which is popular around the world.

Per Difficule the word comes from French which means a mountain with straight-forward climb facing some technical sections to reach the summit, where our expert guide will lend full support to the top and with safe descend.

Chulu East Peak Climb located above beautiful Manang valley within Nepal North Mid-West Himalaya, where walk leads on the same trail of popular Annapurna circuit after driving to trekking point at warmer low areas, then heading up into cooler region covered with alpine woodland past interesting villages where you can witness impressive Buddhist culture and custom.

As walk proceeds higher to reach at Manang valley at Pisang village, where tree lines drops for short alpine bushes and shrubs, then heading towards complete wilderness away from human habitations and villages for some days to reach our goal at Pisang East Peak base camp.

With time for preparation and practice heading for the big haul and climb to the summit of country’s highest trekking peaks on top Chulu East Peak, where you feel on top of the world for a while, then descend back with high spirit and successful climb towards Manang valley.

After Chulu East Peak climb walk leads on the main trail of Annapurna circuit to reach at main Manang village an interesting place enclosed with high peaks of Gangapurna-Annapurna II and III with Chulus range, where walk leads further north-west for exciting climb towards Thorang-la pass at 5,416 m the highest spot on walks.

On reaching the high Thorang-La pass festooned with thousands of colorful Buddhist prayer flags and descend towards Mustang area at Kaligandaki River valley with stop in a scenic and holy areas at Muktinath Temple premises, regarded as holiest of all holy pilgrimage spot for both Hindu and Buddhist followers.

Having great exciting time on scenic walks ending at Jomsom town, headquarter of Mustang region located on old Trans Himalaya Salt / Caravan Trade of Nepal and Tibet which leads beyond Upper Mustang to reach the border of Tibet.

Jomsom a scenic and swift flight brings you at lovely and picturesque city in Pokhara blessed with natural wonders of Annapurna Himalaya and serene lakes, with time here back to Kathmandu after a marvelous adventure and experience of a life time on Chulu East Peak Climb.

  • Day 3Drive to Jagat 1,290 m via Besisar 800 m - 08 hrs.
  • Day 4Trek to Dharapani 1,920 m - 05 hours.
  • Day 5Trek to Chame 2,670 m - 05 hours.
  • Day 6Trek to Pisang 3, 230 m - 05 hrs.
  • Day 7Rest day at Pisang for acclimatization and short hike.
  • Day 8Trek to Julu village 3,930m via Ngawal village 3,657m - 06 hrs.
  • Day 9Trek to set Chulu East Peak base camp at 3,910m - 04 hrs.

What’s Included

  • All arrival and departure from the airport to hotel and back on private cars, coach orbuses as per the group size.
  • Accommodation in tourist standard or 2-3 star class hotels on bed and breakfast basis as well in twin sharing basis rooms. (For single supplement at extra cost)
  • Tour and sightseeing around Kathmandu as per the itinerary chosen with city guides includes all entrance fees at places of interest.
  • Domestic air flights as per the itinerary chosen, some with overland drive to reach at the start of treks and on the end, where chartered bus-cars or coach included as per group size.
  • Full board on trekking with breakfast-lunch-afternoon refreshment with dinner includes twin sharing rooms in lodge on route treks and long tours. If camping on remote areas where all meals included breakfast-lunch-afternoon refreshment with dinner includes twin sharing tents on route treks and climb.
  • Applicable Trekking Information Management Systems permits (TIMS) with Conservation or National Park permits.
  • All tour and treks accompanied by guides-staff and porters (either human or pack animals like yaks or mules), all wages, meals, accommodation, transportation facilities with Insurance against medical and accidents.
  • In some high altitude treks we provide sleeping bags and down jackets also with comprehensive medical kits carried by our guides and staff.
  • International Air-fare, Personal medical / travel insurance and Nepal visa fees.
  • Expenses of individual nature drinks, laundry, telephone bills, gratitude and meals in city areas Kathmandu and Pokhara as per the itinerary chosen.
  • Personal Trekking-Climbing gear and equipments including down jackets-sleeping bags if not provided by the company as per the trip cost.
  • Single Supplement on hotel rooms as well on trek in lodge where clients should inform ahead on booking with extra charge on booking single private rooms where available.
  • Emergency evacuation by any means of transportations including immediate Helicopter services if required on accidents, sickness and personal problems.
  • Early return from the tour or treks will not be entertainment with refund, where client should borne all the expenses incurred including accompany guide-porters services.
