Mardi Himal Trekking located just a mere distance from scenic Pokhara city at about 32 k.m. as crow fly towards North direction close to magnificent peaks of Machhapuchare, the area first explored by pioneer and explorer Col Jimmy Roberts and named this beautiful place as Other Sanctuary after Annapurna Sanctuary.

Starting with drive from Kathmandu to reach at beautiful Pokhara city and its scenic valley enclosed by tiers of rolling green hills, snow capped mountains that reflect on its calm Phewa and Begnas Lakes.

Adventure leads past Pokhara valley into cooler alpine hills with captivating views and panorama of Annapurna-Manaslu-Dhaulagiri with Machhapuchare Himal, as walk leads into lovely forested areas, and then leaving the farm villages heading beyond from the main trekking trails to complete wilderness.

Walking into serene woodland of rhododendron-magnolia and pines trees with ever present views of mountains to reach the highest point of the adventure at Mardi Himal base camp beneath towering face of Machhapuchare and Mardi Himal at above 4,500 m.

With marvelous experience within pure and fresh mountain air along with amazing views and panorama of dramatic landscapes and mountains walking back to Pokhara taking an alternative and scenic route visiting interesting Lwang village enriched with local culture to end beautiful and memorable Mardi Himal Trekking at scenic Pokhara.

Outline Itinerary

  • Day 01Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
  • Day 02Fly to Pokhara 820m (220 k.m - 06 hrs rides (30 mins by air). and drive to kande,trek to pidam deurali
  • Day 03Trek from Pitam deurali to Jungle Camp 6,7 hrs
  • Day 04Trek from Jungle camp to High Camp, 6 hrs.
  • Day 05Trek from High camp to view point -back down to Batase danda 7 hrs.
  • Day 06Trek from Batase dand to sidding - 05 hrs.
  • Day 07sinddiding to Pokhara by drive, 3 hrs.
  • Day 08Fly frompokhara to kathmandu by morning flight ,30 minuts
  • Day 09International departure homeward bound.

What’s Included

  • All arrival and departure from the airport to hotel and back on private cars, coach orbuses as per the group size.
  • Accommodation in tourist standard or 2-3 star class hotels on bed and breakfast basis as well in twin sharing basis rooms. (For single supplement at extra cost)
  • Tour and sightseeing around Kathmandu as per the itinerary chosen with city guides includes all entrance fees at places of interest.
  • Domestic air flights as per the itinerary chosen, some with overland drive to reach at the start of treks and on the end, where chartered bus-cars or coach included as per group size.
  • Full board on trekking with breakfast-lunch-afternoon refreshment with dinner includes twin sharing rooms in lodge on route treks and long tours. If camping on remote areas where all meals included breakfast-lunch-afternoon refreshment with dinner includes twin sharing tents on route treks and climb.
  • Applicable Trekking Information Management Systems permits (TIMS) with Conservation or National Park permits.
  • All tour and treks accompanied by guides-staff and porters (either human or pack animals like yaks or mules), all wages, meals, accommodation, transportation facilities with Insurance against medical and accidents.
  • In some high altitude treks we provide sleeping bags and down jackets also with comprehensive medical kits carried by our guides and staff.
  • International Air-fare, Personal medical / travel insurance and Nepal visa fees.
  • Expenses of individual nature drinks, laundry, telephone bills, gratitude and meals in city areas Kathmandu and Pokhara as per the itinerary chosen.
  • Personal Trekking-Climbing gear and equipments including down jackets-sleeping bags if not provided by the company as per the trip cost.
  • Single Supplement on hotel rooms as well on trek in lodge where clients should inform ahead on booking with extra charge on booking single private rooms where available.
  • Emergency evacuation by any means of transportations including immediate Helicopter services if required on accidents, sickness and personal problems.
  • Early return from the tour or treks will not be entertainment with refund, where client should borne all the expenses incurred including accompany guide-porters services.
