Langtang Gosainkund trekking, a journey of two week duration walks with fabulous scenery of Langtang-Jugal and Ganesh Himal range of mountains and as far towards Manaslu and Annapurna due west direction.

Langtang Gosainkund trekking a remarkable adventure where first part of the walk leads you within beautiful and scenic Langtang valley at Kyanjin enclosed within array of peaks around this beautiful high green valley at above 3,748 m high.

At Kyanjin facing mountain views having rest days with short hike to scenic high hills to support with acclimatization, before heading towards next part of the journey to higher terrain at holy Gosainkund Lake.

Langtang and Gosainkund Trekking commence with long interesting overland journey from Kathmandu to reach at Rasuwa district around Langtang Himal at Dhunche headquarter town of the area, with entrance point of Langtang National Park.

From Dhunche with drive to Tamang farm village at Syabrubesi to start our wonderful walks which leads to many spread-out farm villages and into serene woodland of tall rhododendron-oaks-magnolia-pines and fir tree lines with some bamboo grooves that makes excellent habitation for rare and endangered Red Panda spotted sometimes on this trek to Kyanjin and Langtang valley.

As walk leads into river gorge covered within dense forest and then suddenly reaching a wide and scenic valley at Kyanjin within beautiful Langtang valley surrounded by series of peaks of Langtang Himal range with views of Jugal and Dorji Lakpa towards eastern end of the valley.

After and enjoyable time at Kyanjin our adventure continues towards sacred Gosainkund a glacial pond regarded as holy, where walks leads to climb over Sing-Gompa and Laurabinaya ridge facing tremendous scenery of snow clad mountains towards North West direction.

As walk progress reaching to our another highlight at holy Gosainkund, where once a year in the month of August great religious festivals held, thousands of Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims flocks around for dip in the sacred icy pond and offering prayers to Lord Shiva.

With interesting time at Gosainkund and its holy glacial pond walk leads towards the highest point of the adventure to cross high Gosainkund-La pass also called as East Laurabinaya-La pass at above 4,609 m and 15,100 ft high facing grand views of dramatic landscapes and mountains to reach the eastern side of Langtang Himal.

Walking on high ridges and into forested areas encountering many farm villages of Tamang with few Sherpa and Hyalmo hill tribe of the area with fascinating Buddhism religion and culture, as walk leads ups and down to reach at scenic Chisapani hill offers stunning sunrise views over chain of Himalayan peaks.

Finally our adventure comes to an end following downhill trail past serene woodland and many farm villages to reach at North East rim of Kathmandu valley where a short drive takes you to your hotel in Kathmandu, after an outstanding journey and fantastic experience of two weeks on Langtang and Gosainkund Trekking.

What’s Included

  • All arrival and departure from the airport to hotel and back on private cars, coach orbuses as per the group size.
  • Accommodation in tourist standard or 2-3 star class hotels on bed and breakfast basis as well in twin sharing basis rooms. (For single supplement at extra cost)

  • In some high altitude treks we provide sleeping bags and down jackets also with comprehensive medical kits carried by our guides and staff.
  • International Air-fare, Personal medical / travel insurance and Nepal visa fees.
  • Expenses of individual nature drinks, laundry, telephone bills, gratitude and meals in city areas Kathmandu and Pokhara as per the itinerary chosen.
  • Personal Trekking-Climbing gear and equipments including down jackets-sleeping bags if not provided by the company as per the trip cost.
  • Single Supplement on hotel rooms as well on trek in lodge where clients should inform ahead on booking with extra charge on booking single private rooms where available.
  • Emergency evacuation by any means of transportations including immediate Helicopter services if required on accidents, sickness and personal problems.
  • Early return from the tour or treks will not be entertainment with refund, where client should borne all the expenses incurred including accompany guide-porters services.
